James J. Andermann, 99, went with our Lord on December 11, 2020. James was a resident of Santa Fe, NM since 1944. He was a WWII Veteran and rifle marksman, receiving a bronze service star, good conduct medal, AP service ribbon. He met the love of his life, Juanita Garcia Andermann while recuperating in Santa Fe from malaria he contracted while serving in the US Army and never left Santa Fe. They remained married from 1945 until she passed in August 2019. He was a professional barber in Santa Fe for many years. He is survived by his sons, Rodney (partner Nancy Adams), Ronald, Robert (wife, Mitzi) and daughter, Delinda Andermann. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, many great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by, his daughter, Dorothy Andermann, granddaughters, Annette and Ashley Andermann, his parents Emile and Celine Andermann, brothers Charles, Dalton, Larry, and his sister Alice.
James J. Andermann, 99, passed on December 11, 2020. Services were delayed at that time due to covid-19. Therefore, services will be held at santa Maria De La Paz Catholic located at 11 college Ave and Richards Ave. On tuesday, July 6, 2021, with Rosary at 10:30 AM, mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at 2:15 PM at Santa Fe national Cemetery. Please join us at Tiny's restaurant at 3:30 PM for visitation, rememberance and food.
