James W. (Jim) Tuomey died after a short illness on July 14, 2014. He was born and grew up in Brooklyn, NY, and later lived in several states and abroad with his family. He and his wife moved to Taos in 1999, an area he loved. During his years in Taos, he was a volunteer at Taos Public Library, then a librarian, and again a volunteer after retirement from the library. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Jeanne Mariko, and is survived by his wife, Ann Ellen and son, Drew.
