James W. Tongkeamah, 28, resident of Santa Fe, NM and a Native American from the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma,passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2018. He was born on July 30, 1989 in San Jose, CA to Vivian Tongkeamah.
He is preceded in death by his great grandparents: Emiliano & Trinidad Gonzales and Benito & Francis Wiggins.
James is survived by his mother: Vivian Tongkeamah, sisters: Carla Saiz, April Tongkeamah and fiancé David Wagers, Grandparents: Frank & Lenora Wiggins, and Frank Tongkeamha, aunts & uncles: Frankie & Maritza Wiggins, Louie & Julie Wiggins, Willie & Sierra Wiggins, Raymond & Audrey Wiggins, Jaime & Damon Gardner, nieces & nephews: Alexa Saiz, Denelle, Donavin, Derrius, Delilah and Dominic Wagers, cousins: Lester Lopez-Amador. Moses Wiggins, Linkin Gardner and Isabelle Wiggins.
The world lost a beautiful and loving soul. James always had a smile on his face. He was our jokester who could make anyone laugh. His love was selfless, he was genuine, he was accepting and he was loyal. He will always be remembered for having a big heart❤ Our Gentle Giant...Our “Jimmy Mack”
Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. with memorial service to follow from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Rivera Family Funeral Home located at 417 East Rodeo Road Santa Fe, NM.
Reception will be at Elks Lodge at 4:00 p.m. located at 1615 Old Pecos Trail Santa Fe, NM.
