Our beloved Jane D. Roybal made her transition from this life and was carried up to Haven by the Angels on November 20, 2024, at the young age of 78. 

 Jane was born on May 27, 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Eluteria Lujan, her brothers Tony, Jimmy, Freddie and sister Josephine. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Tony J. Roybal; Her son Duwayne, (Lisa), daughter Vanessa, special grandchildren; Joey (Lindsay,), Derek (Cristin) Camille (Miguel), Justin (Kayla), Sophia, and Emma; great grandchildren Waylen, and Eliea; sisters, MaryAnn (Horacio), Mildred; brothers Michael, Florentino (Corrine), Melvin and other close relatives and special friend Linda Archuleta

Jane attended Pecos Schools and graduated in 1965. She married Tony J. Roybal upon his return from the Korean conflict and together they forged a loving relationship and were blessed with a beautiful family. 

Jane was such a loving, caring, selfless, supportive, helpful, loyal, compassionate, Wife, Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, Daughter, Sister, Auntie and Friend. 

Jane was a joy to be around her cheerful nature would light up a room. 

Jane worked as a lead cook at the Glorieta Baptist Conference Center, she retired after having served for 30+ years. Subsequent to her retirement she continued with her love and support of the wellbeing of her family as well of her passion of cooking for her family and friends, she was always asked to help with catering’s for wedding showers, weddings, birthdays, funerals, and concession stands and she also volunteered her time assisting with American LegionAuxiliary, Post 70, volunteering her excellent cooking skills for any type of fundraiser they had. She was well known for her famous chili beans and tortillas and sopapillas, and natillas. The love Jane had for cooking was unconditional. She absolutely loved it. She loved to make sure that everyone was fed no matter what she had. She always made sure you walked away with a full stomach. 

 A funeral celebration will take place on Dec. 4, 2024 at Saint Anthony Parish. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Eulogy and Mass at 11: 00 a.m.
