Jane Hernandez

Jane Reyes Hernandez, age 88, a resident of Los Alamos, NM, passed away Tuesday, March 6th due to natural causes. She was born in Carlsbad, NM in 1923 to Andrea and Luis Reyes. She and her husband were members of the League of United Latin American Citizens. She was also a former member of the Los Alamos Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary. Jane is preceded in death by her husband; Henry Hernandez, son; Tommy Hernandez, brother; Roy Reyes, sister; Elizabeth Flores, brother-in-law; Fred Hernandez and many other family members. She is survived by her sister; Vera Madrid of Santa Fe, NM, grandson; Jerome Edwards (Dana) of Santa Fe. NM, daughters; Kathren Hernandez-Harris of Santa Fe, NM Dena Edwards of Los Alamos, NM, granddaughters; Leyla Romero (Monica) of Santa Fe, Krysti Hernandez of White Rock, NM Shelby, Janey Michel of Los Alamos, NM, Serenity Sky Romero Galloway and Daughter in law; Claudia Hernandez of White Rock, NM. Recitation of the Rosary took place on March 8, 2012. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on March 9, 2012. Both services were held at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment followed at Rosario Cemetery.
