Janet Sue Brakensiek Majerus, beloved wife of Robert E. Burke, MD, passed away on Sunday September 30, 2018 at the age of 82. She was born on March 30, 1936 and raised in Quincy Illinois to her parents Gertrude and Irvin Brakensiek. Janet’s life was full of hard work, adventure, love and accomplishments. After graduating from the University of Illinois with a B.A. in Journalism, she married Philip W. Majerus and moved to St. Louis.
