Jason Eloy Carrillo

Jason E. Carrillo, age 40, passed away March 12, 2017. Jason loved spending time with his two children. He also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, camping, and riding his dirt bikes and 4 wheelers.He was a mechanic at Pep Boys in Santa Fe. He was preceded in death by his paternal Grandfather, Uvaldo Carrillo, paternal Grandmother, Tedora Carrillo, Maternal Grandfather, Chester A. Smith, Uncle, Jorge Carrillo, and Cousin, Frieda Gonzales. Jason is survived by his daughter, Ashley Bernadette Carrillo, Son, Matthew Jacob Carrillo, and mother of his children, Michele Savinsky. Parents, Alex and Ida Carrillo, Sister, Samantha Carrillo (Jon), Grandmother, Margaret M. Smith. Special cousins who were more like brothers to him, Ray Smith (Corey), Steve Smith (Jennifer). Uncles, Chester Smith (Rena), Jeffery Smith (Diane), Frank Smith (Connie), Joe Carrillo (Patricia), Bobby Carrillo, Lupe Carrillo (Jan), Aunts, Maria Silva, Susan Padilla (Dennis). Many other relatives and friends. Visitation for Jason will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, from 12 noon to 9:00 PM at the Rivera Family Funeral Home, In Espanola, NM. A special celebration of Jason’s life will be held at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017, 10:30 AM, at the Crossroads Bible Church, 97 E. Road, Los Alamos, NM. Burial will be at 12:30 PM at Guaje Pines Cemetery Los Alamos, NM. Serving the family as pall bearers will be Ray Smith, Steve Smith, Jon Baros, James Aguilar, Carl Trujillo, and Mike Carrillo.
