Jason Johnson

~ Mr. Jason Leonard Johnson ~ Age 32 of Albuquerque, NM. and formerly of Alcalde, passed away on December 29, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father Edwin Johnson, grandfather Juan Maestas and cousin Marcos Martinez. He enjoyed his career as a cosmetologist, and was a very generous, loving & caring person, a great baker, party planner and decorator. He is survived by his mother Dolores Johnson and husband Robert Martinez of Alcalde, grandmother Olivia Maestas of Alcalde, grandparents Joe and Sally Garcia of Fairview and Robert and Marcella Martinez of Alcalde, very close cousins that were more like sisters; Jackie Narvaiz and Donna Martinez, aunts; Rosie, Sylvia, Phyllis, Ida, Cindy, Lisa, Roberta and Jennifer, uncles; Leroy, Danny, Paul, and Joe, Jr., and David and Danny Archuleta, Godparents Atocha & Leonard, and many loving cousins and friends. An evening devotional service was held on Monday January 2nd at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola. The funeral service was held on Tuesday January 3rd at 12:00 noon at Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola, and interment followed at The Loma Vista Cemetery in Alcalde. Serving as pallbearers were: Jerald Byers, Jose Moya, Jason Duda, Daniel Archuleta Jr., Amos Maestas, Alvin Johnson, Vincent Baldonado, Marissa Maestas and Robin Padilla.
