Jeff Montoya – Age 37 a resident of Chamita passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2008. He was preceded in death by his mother, Santana Cruz; brother, Vicente "Bo Bo" Cruz; grandmother, Raquel Baros; and a nephew, Christopher Cruz Martinez. May their souls rest in peace. He is survived by his daughter, Jacqueline Valencia of Santa Fe; sisters and brothers: Pam Cruz and companion Gene Herrera of Rio Chama, Ronald Cruz and companion Cecilia Herrera of Chamita, Lorie Cruz of Santa Fe, Valerie Quezada and husband Francisco of Santa Fe, Leonard Baros and companion Bonnie Overson of Albuquerque, Berna Herrera and husband Manuel of Rio Chama, Juanita Martinez and companion Bert Jacquez of Chamita, Beverly Gonzales and husband Carlos of Idaho and Deborah Gallegos of Chamita; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
