Jennie Holian

Jennie Holian 1917-2008 Jennie Holian, 91, of Santa Fe, NM, died Oct. 23 in Santa Fe at Casa Real Health Care Center. She was born Feb. 24, 1917, in St. Cloud, MN. She taught in several elementary schools in Minnesota. She married Marvin Holian during World War II and moved to Fort Sill, OK, where he served as an Army captain in the Field Artillery. After the War, they moved to Worland, WY, and then to Cheyenne, WY. She enjoyed working as liaison for the Wyoming State Senate for 32 years. Mrs. Holian is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Brad and Kathy Holian of Santa Fe and Knute and Ruth Holian of Cheyenne. She is also survived by grandchildren, Matthew Holian of Danvers, MA, Joshua Holian of San Francisco, CA, Jasmine and Katrina Holian of Cheyenne; and two great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Connor Holian (children of Matthew and Keri Holian). She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Holian; sister, Evelyn Palmquist; and two brothers, Fritz Heiner and Allen Heiner. Memorial services were held at First Baptist Church in Cheyenne.
