Jerry E. Montoya

Jerry E. Montoya age 49, a resident of Santa Fe, NM, passed away on November 13, 2015 of natural causes. He was born in July of 1966 in Espanola to step-mother Flor and Serafin Montoya. He was preceded in death by his father, Serafin Montoya, brothers, Edward Montoya, Larry Montoya and baby brother Amador Montoya. He is survived by his step-mother, Flor Montoya, sister’s Celina Montoya and Lucaria Montoya, brother Apolonio Montoya, brothers-in-law Juan Luis Villegas and Maurice Prada all of Santa Fe. He is also survived by his aunts, Rose Barela, Carmen Chavez, uncle, Joe Montoya and wife Cecilia, uncle, Juan Vigil and wife Feloniz, nieces, Faith, Hope and Destiney Montoya and nephews, Lorenzo Montoya, Juanluis, Iker and Ever Villegas Montoya. Jerry was young at heart, loved to play basketball and cards. He enjoyed watching old western movies, and worked for the Santa Fe New Mexican for several years. Jerry will be missed by all his family and friends. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 8:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Santa Fe.
