Jerry S. Gallegos – Age 48 a resident of Española passed away on Tuesday, October 31st, 2006. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Avenicio and Ernestina Lopez; parents: Juan I. Gallegos and Celina Lopez; sister, Isabel Maes; 2 uncles: Anselmo Lopez and Joe M. Griego; and a cousin, Max P. Griego. May their souls rest in peace. He is survived by his son, Jerome A. Gallegos and wife Amanda Y. Gallegos of Rio Rancho; grandsons: Michael J. Gallegos and Danté J. Gallegos both of Rio Rancho; Jerome's mother, Loretta Romero of Santa Fe; aunts: Irene Griego and Maria Lopez both of Española; sisters: Pauline Lopez and husband Daniel Carmona and Sheila Romero and husband Miguel all of Española and Benita of El Rito; nephews and nieces: Lee Lopez and wife Sonya, Rafael Hernandez and his daughter, Scarlett all of Española, Paul Gonzales of Albuquerque, Michelle Lopez, Daniella Carmona, Palmita Romero and Tina Romero all of Española, Jayme Abeyta and husband Phillip of Rio Rancho, Ginger Espinoza and husband Alfred and Tamara Chavez all of Santa Fe; special cousins: Gilbert Lopez and Pat Griego both of Española; and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Friday, November 3rd, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada.
