Jesse Bellamy

Jesse Bellamy of White Rock, New Mexico passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 67.

Born in Quanah, Texas on January 23, 1958, Jesse developed his reputation as a hardworking man at a young age, working in the farmlands of Texas as a boy. He joined the U.S. Marine Corp in 1975, serving as a Rifleman until 1981. Upon an honorable discharge, Jesse moved his family to New Mexico where he spent the rest of his life. He was proud to be a Measurement Technician for the New Mexico Gas Company and recently celebrated his 27-year work anniversary with the organization.

Jesse was a man of deep integrity, humor, and kindness, who never hesitated to help his family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues when he could. His greatest achievement was to be a good father to his four daughters who he loved and supported with unwavering devotion.

Jesse is survived by his daughters Chrystal (Bellamy) Rodriguez, Jessica Bellamy, Nicole Bellamy, and Danielle Bellamy; grandchildren, Aurelio Jesse (A.J.) Rodriguez, Anthony Rodriguez, Desiree Rodriguez, and Matthias Gurule; great grandchildren Isaiah, Jacelyn, Alec, Aurelio, Calliope, and Calistro Rodriguez; sisters Adela Parnell and Laura Bellamy Velasquez. He is also survived by many other brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and his beloved dog, Taz.

Services to celebrate Jesse’s life will be held Friday, May 16th from 2pm – 4pm at Rivera Family Funeral Home, 417 East Rodeo Rd., Santa Fe, NM. In consideration of Jesse’s preferences, the family requests that attendees do not wear black or formal attire.
