Jesusita V. Sanchez, 74, of Ojo Sarco died peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2009. Mrs. Sanchez was born to the late Florentino and Antonia Vasquez. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Felipe Sanchez, sons; John Matias, Clyde and Joseph Sanchez, daughter Dorothy Garcia, step-daughter Alice Sanchez, a great grandson Elijah Pacheco, grandson Ignacio Sanchez. Jesusita is survived by five sons, Luis Sanchez and wife Patsy , Felimon Sanchez and wife Lucy, Carlos Sanchez and wife Joann, Leroy Sanchez and wife Anita all of Ojo Sarco, Jessie Sanchez and wife Ardy of Cordova , one daughter Theresa Martinez and husband Anthony of Chimayo, stepson Estevan Sanchez and wife Josefita of Chacon, step-daughter Oralia Sanchez of Taos, five sisters; Rosa Martinez of Cleveland, NM, Flora Hurtado of Rawlings, WY, Viola Ruiz and husband Felimon, Seralia Maestas, Barbara Dominguez and husband Calletano all of Clayton, NM, four brothers; Jose Vasquez and wife Ester of Torrington, WY, Florentino Vasquez Jr. and wife Alice of Chacon, NM, Leroy Vasquez and wife Cordy of Rawlings, WY, and Henry Vasquez of Ojo Sarco, 18 Grandchildren, 15 Great-grandchildren and many other loving relatives. Public visitation will be held on Wednesday Aug. 12th at 4:00 PM at Nuestra Senora Del Rosario Catholic Church in Truchas, with the rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 2:00 in the afternoon also at church. Interment will take place at The Ojo Sarco Cemetery. Assisting as pallbearers will be Andrew, Lucas, Leroy Jr., Joseph Jr., Michael, Robert and Felipe Sanchez, Ray and Adam Maestas, Ruben F. and Ruben Vasquez.
