Jimmy Montoya

Jimmy Montoya (1958 ~2016) died Saturday, July 30, 2016 accidentally at his home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Jimmy is preceded in death by his father George R. Montoya and brother George (Georgie) F. Montoya. He is survived by his mother Connie (Pilar) Montoya, the Montoya and Cortés families. He was a loving and devoted son to his mother Connie and the needy people whom he nursed at Amarillo, TX and helped at Ayudantes in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Pallbearers are Young Kenton, Andre Kenton, David Montoya, Pat O’Grady, Phil Vigil, and Ralph Botxon. Honorary Pallbearer is Brett Bunot. A visitation will be held Sunday, August 7th, 2016 from 5:00 to 6:00pm at the Rivera Family Funeral Home - Kiva Chapel of Light, 417 E. Rodeo Rd with a rosary to follow at 6:00 p.m., Santa Fe, N.M. A Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, August 8th, 2016 at 12:00pm in St. Gertrude Church in Mora, New Mexico with Interment to follow.
