Joann Esquibel

Joann "Jo" Esquibel, 52, of La Mesilla, New Mexico, passed away unexpectedly on October 03, 2022. Joann was recently predeceased by her husband & the love of her life, Robert Esquibel Sr.

Joann was one of the most sweet, humble, and thoughtful people anyone could ever meet and made her humorous & loving impression wherever she went; from dear friends and family, to co-workers, to complete strangers. A tirelessly devoted mother and wife, she did anything and everything she could for her family. Joann remained one of the biggest fans of the musician Prince since her teenage years and loved everything purple. She was an avid fan of The Raiders and Harley Davidson as well and had a very special place in her heart for her fur babies Apple, Chibi, Piglet, Bubba, Kat and her 'grandson' fur baby Kiwi.

She is preceded in death by her dearly missed mother, Annie (Guerin) Roybal, her father Santana Borrego, brothers George and Ernie "Bardo" Roybal, dear friends she always kept close to her heart; Francine Blea and Yvette Saiz as well as other friends and family she will reunite with.

She is survived by her beloved sons; Robert "Robbie" Jr. and Danny, whom love her dearly and will forever miss her loving, gentle presence. She is also survived by her siblings Shirlene Carillo (Robert), Darlene Silva, Joseph Serrano, & Jerry Serrano. Mother & father-in-law Irene & George Esquibel, sister-in-law Jennifer Esquibel, brother-in-law Jamie Esquibel (Teofila), as well other friends and family that will all miss her dearly.

Services for this beautiful soul will take place at a much later date and will be updated as they become available.
