Joe Ben Abeyta, 74, formerly of Los Cordovas, passed away on December 18, 2006 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is preceded in death by his parents Pablo and Emma Abeyta, wife Bernadine, son JB, and brother, Nelson. He is survived by his children Leonard (wife Cindy), Peggy (husband Steve), and Tommy. He is also survived by his brother Phillip, sisters Elsie Abeyta, Teresa Brown (Gene), Lorraine Martinez (Tony), and Pauline Martinez all of Taos. Services are to be held in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on Friday December 22, 2006.
