Joe Herson Chacon – Age 84 a resident of Rodarte passed away on Wednesday, May 24th. He was preceded in death by his parents: Florencio and Clorinda Chacon; and stepfather, Frank Davis May their souls rest in peace. He is survived by his wife, Eliria Chacon; children: Florence Cornejo and Lupe of Denver, Judy Sanchez and Larry of Tucson, AZ, Eloisa Torres of Denver, Phillip Chacon and Ida of Nevada, Carmen Sanchez of Tucson, AZ, Mary Mascareñas and Anthony of Albuquerque, LouAnn Arellano and Arnold of Dixon, Barbara Chacon of Leadville, CO, Lucy Chacon of Rodarte, Jerry Chacon and Geraldine of Llano and Joe F. Chacon and Nadine of Llano; brothers: Frank Davis and Louis and Larby Davis, 19 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated this morning at 10 o'clock at the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in Peñasco with father Mark Schultz officiating. Burial will follow at the Santa Barbara Cemetery. The family of Joe H. Chacon has placed their trust in the Rivera family.
