Joe Ruiz Sr

June 26, 1935 - March 22, 2024

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joe, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, godfather, uncle and friend at the age of 88 years. He's survived by, his loving wife Elsie Ruiz of 60 years; daughters Maria, Dorinda, Liz(Aaron) and Cathy; grandchildren Phillip, Jose, Lizzette(Greg), Steven(Rebecca), Crystal(Chantel), Jazmain and Arrianna; 15 great grandchildren; Sister Pauline Pena; and many nieces, nephews and god children. 

He is preceeded in death by his son Joe Jr, mother and father, and siblings.

Joe was a lifelong resident of Santa Fe, NM. He  enjoyed hunting, bowling, and playing pool, doing word search and crossword puzzles, but most of all he loved family time. Playing poker with his family every weekend was a must.

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, godfather, uncle and friend will be dearly missed by all.
