Beyond his military career, John was a father to his daughter, Shandyn Barnard, of Phoenix, AZ He leaves behind his sister, Lisa Robinson and husband Andy Robinson, of Newcastle, OK, and his brother, Mike Barnard, of Scottsdale, AZ.
