JOHN CARMELITO TORRES Age 38 of Ohkay Owingeh passed away March 11, 2007 as a result of a short illness. He was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Dean Archuleta and niece Wanda Lynn Archuleta. He is survived by his parents Frank and Beatrice Torres of Ohkay Owingeh, sister Deborah M. Torres of Ohkay Owingeh, Catherine Vigil of Tesuque Pueblo, brother C. James Archuleta of Ohkay Owingeh, Godparents Herman and Isabel Vigil of Tesuque Pueblo, aunts and uncles; Cornel and Mary Blancaflor of Upland, CA., Henry F. Archuleta, Maryann Padilla, and Matthew Torres all of Ohkay Owingeh, numerous cousins relatives and friends. Recitation of the Rosary was held Monday evening at Block-Salazar Mortuary, Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday March 13, at 8:00 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo, interment to follow at the Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo Cemetery.
