John Kessler

1945 — December 6, 2023

John M. "Jack" Kessler, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home on December 6, 2023, in the company of his wife of 26 years, Patricia S. Kessler.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, to Frieda and Bernard Kessler, Jack was the youngest of six siblings, Richard, Bob, David, Jerry, and Joan Kessler Solinger, all of whom predeceased him.

Jack spent his early years in Columbus, where he met Patricia at his computer store. Their love story began in that very store and continued to flourish over the years.

He is survived by his children, Joshua Kessler, Terri, John, Shana, and Rachael.

Jack was a man of deep wisdom, honesty, and a sense of humor that could light up any room. He was known for his loyalty, love, and passion, traits that were evident in his relationships with family and friends. He was a hard worker, a talented computer systems designer, and always emphasized the importance of family values. His life was a testament to these values, and his legacy will continue to live on through his family.

After living in Columbus, Jack moved to Taos, New Mexico, where he spent 26 wonderful years with his wife. He was a spiritual man who enjoyed sharing his wisdom with anyone who would listen. He had a knack for making people feel comfortable and valued, and his home was always open to friends and family.  Despite his busy schedule, Jack always found time for his favorite activities. He was a man of many interests, but his passion for computers and sharing spiritual and life wisdom stood out. He had a unique way of making complex concepts simple, and his teachings have left a lasting impact on many. Jack was a man who lived his life to the fullest, leaving no stone unturned. His journey was not without challenges, but he faced them with courage and determination, always maintaining his sense of humor. His life was a testament to his strength and resilience, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and family values.

In keeping with Jack's wishes, no services or memorial events are planned until after the cremains are delivered. The family appreciates the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time and requests that you remember Jack in your thoughts and prayers. Jack's life was a beautiful journey filled with love, laughter, and wisdom.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched, and his teachings will continue to guide us in our lives.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor Jack's memory by living life to the fullest, cherishing your loved ones, and sharing wisdom with those around you, just as Jack did.
