John Roybal

John Gilbert Roybal, 83, of Penasco passed away on August 25, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Claudina Roybal, sister, Maria Adonila Travis and brother, Jose Alfonso Roybal. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lillian Roybal of Penasco, sons, Ralph Roybal (Kim) and Gilbert Roybal both of Albuquerque, NM, two grandsons, Daryl Roybal (Suzanne) of Albuquerque, NM and Brandon Roybal of California two great-grandchildren, Bailey and Justin Roybal of Albuquerque. He is also survived by his sisters, Mabel Segura of Houston, TX, Ruth Schettler of Albuquerque, NM, Melba Medina (Jose) of Albuquerue, NM, Edwina Dominguez (Jerry) of Lawndale, CA and Laura Sines of Addison, NY, many other relatives and friends who loved him. Family Visitation was held August 29, 2017 at Rivera Chapel. Rosary was recited at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church in Penasco. Funeral mass was held on August 30, 2017 at St. Anthony de Padua Church. Interment will follow at the Miera Cemetery.
