John Toth

John Martin Toth (Age 72) of Valdez , New Mexico passed away on May 2,2022. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Barbara Toth of Valdez, and his beloved daughter, Natasha of Portland, Maine. He is also survived by his siblings,  Joyce Toth and Gwendolyn Toth of New York and Ernest Toth of Ohio.

John was raised in Ohio and graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University.  He lived in Shaker Heights, Ohio for most of his adult life until he fell in love with New Mexico and built a home here.  In Ohio, he worked in all phases of commercial construction, and had his own company where he worked selling, engineering and installing metal wall panels for commercial buildings. John was always extremely hard working and creative, and  he was very knowledgeable about all types of construction and building systems. 

When he  lived in Ohio, John was an avid sailor.  In New Mexico , he skied and enjoyed working on his vintage cars and building furniture of his own design. 

John will be missed by his family and friends.
