Jonathan Jay Krake

Jonathan Jay Krake, born November 25, 1951 in Waterbury , CT. Passed away on December 2, 2007 in Taos, NM. Jonathan lived in the Bethlehem, CT area prior to moving to NM in 1991. Jonathan was a talented carpenter and wood worker. He specialized in custom doors and trim work. He was associated with Solar Survival Architecture in Taos, NM. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Hart Krake and Leland W. Krake Jr. He is survived by step-mother, Gretchen Krake of S. Dennis, MA, bothers Thomas S. Krake (Lynda) of Farmington, NM and Leland W. Krake III (Bev) of Bethlehem, CT, nieces, Megan Krake Jenkins (Billy) of Fruitland, NM and Maren Krake Dalton (Devon) of Albuquerque, NM, great-nephews, Alex, Tyler and Jacob, great-nieces, Makenna and Kaley. He will be greatly missed by his family and the many friends and associates in Taos who cared for him during his illness. A memorial service for Jonathan will be held in Taos at a later date.
