Jose Clemente Clodovio Manzanares

Jose Clemente Clodovio Manzanares, age 80, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024, peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones. Jose enjoyed music, dancing, singing, fishing, camping, boat rides, and most of all family time. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Nellie Manzanares, sons Joey and Anthony Manzanares, daughter Josephine Manzanares, son-in-law Ray Chavarria, mother and father Maria Romero and Jose Manzanares, brothers Pete, and Ruben Manzanares. 

Jose is survived by his daughters Deanna Martinez (Dino), Jessica Vigil, and Jenell Chavarria, son Willie Manzanares, grandkids Manuel and Amanda Martinez, Kevin, Eddie Ray, Ambrose Manzanares, and Amber Castaneda, Joseph Archuleta, Jimmy Vigil, and Heaven Martinez, Lucas, Jose Matthew, and Tiana Chavarria, brother Manuel Manzanares, sisters Mela Vigil, Viola Martinez, and Ruth Esquibel, sister-in-law Melva Manzanares, Lordes Manzanares, and many great grandkids, alongside a close friend and cousin Leroy Martinez. 

A Rosary will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 10:30 am at Santa Cruz de la Canada Church in Santa Cruz, NM. Mass at 11:00 with the burial to follow at the Santa Cruz de Canada Cemetery. There will be a meal at the Knights of Columbus in Arroyo Seco, NM following the services.
