Jose Archuleta

Jose Elias Archuleta age 82 of Chamita, died peacefully on January 20, 2008 in Española. He was a World War II Veteran, serving in the United States Army, and retired from Zia Company. He is survived by his dear wife, Mary Archuleta of 58 years; children: Bernice Atencio and husband Sam of Chili, Frank Archuleta and wife Guadalupe of Chili, Erwin Archuleta and wife Dolores of Chamita and Michael Archuleta and companion Carmelita Sandoval of Chamita. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday January 22, 2008 at 7:00 pm. in the Chapel of Block- Salazar Mortuary. A second rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 7:00 pm. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in San Juan. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at the same church at 11:00 a.m., with the burial to follow at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery in Chamita. Serving as pallbearers will be Angelo Atencio, Cory Atencio, Specialist Christopher Lee Archuleta who is serving in the Army in Iraq, Francesca Archuleta, Larry Gallegos, Ivan Archuleta, Justin Archuleta and John Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be Audrea Atencio, Arlette Atencio, Amber Archuleta, Cecilia Herrera, Angelo Moya, Phil, Salazar, JoAnn Clark, Ramona Chavez, Tommy Boylen, Renee Boylen, and all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
