Jose B. Roybal

Jose Benito Roybal, age 85, a resident of Rio Lucio, passed away on April 24, 2013 due to an illness. He was born on November 7, 1927 in Penasco, NM to Ruperta Lopez and Benito Roybal and was married to Nora Roybal. Jose is preceded in death by his mother Ruperta Lopez, father, Benito Roybal, daughter Neomi Lopez and son-in-law Marvin Lopez. He is survived by his wife Nora Roybal, sons Delfino Roybal (Gladys) and Carl Roybal, daughters Brenda Lopez (Carl) and Spring Roybal, seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, two brothers and four sisters. A visitation and rosary were held on April 26, 2013. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on April 27, 2013. All services were held at San Antonio de Padua Parish in Penasco. A private family burial took place at a later date.
