Jose Felix Valencia III
Born: April 15, 1942
Died: July 19, 2017
His heart of gold was overflowing with love when he heard his calling home. As a life-long resident of Pecos, NM, he was a parishioner of St Anthony’s de Padua Parish, an active member of St. Vincent de Paul, Knights of Columbus, and an original founder of Pecos Little League. He was very active in the community and made time to help neighbors and friends anyway he could. His life was spent working hard to support his large family. He was a food-service professional and worked at various places in Santa Fe and Las Vegas. Upon his retirement from New Mexico School for the Deaf 2006, Felix tried his hand at many traits. He spent his days volunteering his time and sharing his talents with the community. In June of 2015 Felix suffered a stroke, tragically changing his busy life. The last two years were spent at home with his wife, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed visits from friends and relatives. His generous heart showered us with love until the last beat.
Felix is preceded in death by: his parents Felix Valencia Jr and Mercedes S. Valencia, brother and sister-in-law, Alonzo and Vangie Valencia, daughter Josephine M.
