Jose Joe Sanchez

Joe S. Sanchez, age 76, a resident of Talpa, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2013. He was born on August 10, 1936 in Placitas, NM to Fermilia Gallegos and Fidencio Sanchez and married Tita Sanchez on February 27, 1954. Joe is preceded in death by his wife Tita Sanchez, father and mother Mr. and Mrs. Fidencio Sanchez, son-in-laws Gene Zamora and David Gonzales, daughter-in-law Tammy Sanchez, granddaughter Maria Elena Sanchez and great granddaughter Analicia Sanchez. He is survived by his daughters Cathy Zamora and Dolores Sanchez, son Armando Sanchez, daughter Yolanda Castillo (Adam), son Eugene Sanchez (Patsy), daughter Joann Rascon (Memo), son Leroy Sanchez (Roberta), sisters Angie Vigil and Lorraine Lujan (Ruben), and brothers Adolfo Sanchez and Fedencio Sanchez (LoLa), 23 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 7:00pm at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Ranchos de Taos. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 10:00am at the St. Francis Catholic Church with interment to follow at the Talpa Cemetery. A reception will follow the mass at the Talpa Community Center.
