Jose "Lugue" Garcia

Jose Pedro Lugue Garcia, age 88 a resident of Nambe, NM passed away on September 28, 2014. He was born on July 17, 1926 in Pojoaque, NM to Cayetano & Eustacia Garcia. He was preceded in death by his parents Cayetano & Eustacia Garcia; sister, Maria de los Angeles Garcia; brother, Wilfred Garcia; nephew, Jerry Garcia; grand-nephew, Anhel Garcia. He is survived by his sister, Maria Aurora Medina of Espanola, NM; niece-in-law, Elvira Garcia of Nambe, NM; grand-nieces, Bonita Flor Garcia (James Alarid) of Nambe, NM; Sonrisa Ortiz y Garcia and Cristal Ortiz y Garcia of Albuquerque, NM; great-grand-niece, Santana Garcia-Alarid; great-grand-nephew, Cruz Garcia-Alarid; son, Peter Samora; God daughter, Ronda Vigil; and very close friends Adrian and Viola Tiny Garduno all of Nambe, NM; and his beloved buckskin horse who will still reside in Nambe. A Eucharistic Mass took place on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at St. Francis de Assisi Catholic Church in Nambe Pueblo. Thank you for the kind expressions of sympathy.
