Jose Mauricio Cordova

Jose Mauricio Cordova, 70, passed away April 18, 2019. He was born on 1948 to Joe and Casimira Cordova both preceded him in death, along with daughter, Renee Maes and sister, Flora Gallegos; brothers, Albert, Leroy and Juan Cordova. Jose retired from The Town of Vail. He loved telling jokes, fishing and had a great sense of humor. Jose was a hard worker and provider for his family. He loved being the thorn on his sisters side. Jose is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Lorraine Cordova; son, Michael Cordova; grandson, Alexander Maes; sisters, Clara (Carmel) Deherrera, Frances (Arthur) Alires and Margarita Garcia; in-laws, Jim (Jodi) LiVecchi, Anthony (Katrina) LiVecchi, Debbie Castillo, Linda Smith, Leroy and Larry LiVecchi and Sandra (Dan) Gonzales; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will dearly miss him. Rosary will be recited on Monday April 22, 2019 at 6 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pueblo, Colorado. A second rosary will be recited on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 9 AM at the Holy Trinity Church in Arroyo Seco, with a funeral mass to follow at 10 AM New Mexico with interment to be held at the Arroyo Seco Cemetery.
