Joseph Deherrera

Joey DeHerrera, 32, a resident of Santa Fe, passed away after a short illness on Sunday, February 26, 2012. He was born on October 13, 1979. Joey was a special person with a free spirit. He had an unconditional love for his children. He loved to take his family camping any time of year. He had many friends everywhere. He knew how to make everyone laugh. He was preceded in death by his grandma Tonie, grandpa John and Grandma Rosita. He is survived by his children, Danielle Richardson, Aaliyah, Sarayah and Nikylah DeHerrera and the Love of his life, Julie DeHerrera. He is also survived by his loving parents, Pete and Berta DeHerrera, sister, Joni and husband Shawn Wolfswinkel, birth parent, Joe Ortega, grandparents, Tessie Garcia, Ramon and Peggy Ortega, uncles, Anthony and wife Kay, Gerard, Chris and wife Lydia, David and wife Marie, aunts, Irene and husband Eddie, Lydia Wheeler, Rose DeHerrera, Cordie and husband Adonaldo, Linda and husband Paul, June Galvan, Joann and husband Arcenio, Betty Jo and husband Robert, along with numerous other loving relatives and friends. A visitation and rosary were held on March 1, 2012 at Santa Maria de la Paz. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on March 2, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Burial followed at Rosario Cemetery. Pallbearers: Shawn Wolfswinkel, Gilbert Herrera, Raymond Wheeler, Jerome Roybal, Mike Chavez and David Tafoya.
