Joseph Edward McLaughlin Jr.
Lt. Joseph Edward McLaughlin Jr, 57, passed away November 6, 2017. Joseph was a resident of Santa Fe, NM. He was born June 6, 1960 in Easton, MD to Susan Kriss McLaughlin and Joseph E. McLaughlin Sr.
He is preceded in death by his father Joseph E. McLaughlin Sr., paternal grandfather John E. McLaughlin, paternal grandmother Katherine Tribbett McLaughlin, maternal grandfather James J. Kriss Sr., and maternal grandmother Catherine Kriss.
He is survived by his son Joseph E. McLaughlin III (Jen) from Lancaster, CA, grandson’s Jameson McLaughlin, Brayden McLaughlin from Lancaster CA, Lucas McLaughlin Ndamiye, Wyatt Ndamiye, Ezekiel Guel, Robin Mayes II, from Knoxville, TN, daughters Rebecca McLaughlin Ndamiye (Alain), Kira McLaughlin and Rachel Bridge from Knoxville, TN, sisters Kristine Hall (Dennis) from Denton, MD and Dorothy Stichberry (John Jr.) from Hurlock, MD, nieces Ashley Hall, Meghan Hall from Denton, MD, and Jennifer Grubbs (Christopher) from Salisbury, MD, great nieces Chloe Grubbs, Katherine Grubbs, Christopher Grubbs Jr., from Salisbury, MD, nephew John Robert Strichberry III from Easton, MD, stepdaughter Tricia McFaul (Scott) from Santa Fe, NM, granddaughters Ella McFaul, Olivia McFaul from Santa Fe, NM, step son Jeremy Tercero from Santa Fe, NM, and granddaughter Lauren Tercero from Santa Fe, NM and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Joe was in the US Army as a Military policeman for 13 years. He joined the Santa Fe Sheriff’s office and retired as a Lieutenant after 20 years of service. He served as the President of the Santa Fe FOP Lodge #3 and was a Conductor for the New Mexico State FOP.

Honor Guard provided by NM State Police, Santa Fe Sheriff Department and Santa Fe Police Department.
Services will be as follows Visitation starts Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 6:00-7:00pm with Rosary to follow from 7:00-8:00pm at St. Anne’s. Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, November 17, 2017 at St. Anne’s at 1:30pm with interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00pm.
