Josephine M. Perez

Josephine was called to be with our lord unexpectedly on November 9, 2023. She was born on November 29, 1962, and was a lifelong resident of Pecos New Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her parents Antonio and Eluteria Lujan, son Aaron Sean Perez, brothers Tony, Jimmy, and Freddy Lujan, brother-in-law Orlando J. Sandoval, niece Deanna Lujan, nephews Franklin and Rudy Sena, great-niece Desiree “Dez” Sena, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is survived by her sons Arthur Perez Jr., Fabian Valencia, daughter Jessica Perez, brothers Florentino (Corrine) Lujan, Michael (Erlinda) Lujan, Melvin (Judith) Lujan, sisters, Mary Ann (Horacio) Sena, Jane Dora (Tony) Roybal, Virginia Mildred Sandoval, beloved granddaughter Anjelee Valencia, God Daughters Graciella (Zack) Varela, and Vanessa (Paul) Roybal, and many special nieces and nephews.
Josephine enjoyed her time spent with her big sister Mildred, watching Novelas, crocheting, cooking, making puzzles, and eating snacks. She loved and cherished her time spent with grand-daughter Anjelee. She was her pride and joy.
Josephine worked in the banking trade as a Bank Teller and Manager for several years, along with being a cashier at Lowe’s. She was currently employed by the San Miguel Senior Citizens Center located in Pecos, New Mexico for the last five years. She loved her elderly clients and enjoyed her visits with them.
A rosary will be recited Friday, December 1, 2023, at 10am followed by Funeral mass at 11am located at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Pecos, New Mexico with internment at St. Anthony’s cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers: Mary Ann, Jane Dora, Virginia Mildred, beloved grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.
