Reagan was born July 2, 1950 in Rome, Georgia to Josephine Eleanor Reagan and John Walter Ransom. She is survived by three sisters - Linda, Esther, and Bess - and a brother, John. Many beloved grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews survive her also. She married Newton Jasper Coker on June 20, 1970. It was a roller-coaster relationship. They had three children: Josie, Walter, and Esther.
Reagan attended the University of Georgia and graduated from Duke University. She was an active volunteer in all her communities, played tennis, golfed, loved Bridge, and worked as a teacher and counselor for many years. Reagan had the opportunity to travel to amazing places and meet fine and honest people. She will be remembered for her sage observations, wise cracks, and boisterous laughter.
She will be cremated with no service. So, get up one morning to see a Sunrise and try to remember her kindly with a smile. Thank you.
