Joseph Romero

Joseph G. Romero, also known as Joe, reunited with his beloved dog Roxy on Monday November 27, 2023.  He was born on December 14, 1988 in Monterrey, CA to Carolyn Romero and Joseph Finona.  As a director he went above and beyond helping the elderly and went as far as making meals for the elderly when staff called in.  He was extraordinarily compassionate for the elderly and animals alike.  He had a profound love for music and fashion.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Antonio and Aurelia Romero, paternal grandparents Juaquin and Dolores Finona , his father Joesph Finona, maternal aunts Marie Ortiz de Jesus and Yvonne Romero, father-in-law John Barela, and mother-in-law Linda Francis.

He is survived by his mother Carolyn Romero (Pat), sister Jolynn (Mario), niece Delrose, brother Robert (Josh), girlfriend of 18 years Natasha Romero, sister-in-law Amanda Jaramillo (Michael), nieces Krista, Michaela, and nephews Dominic and Jaden, and sister-in-law Kayleen (Iram), nephew Edward, and niece Natalia; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A public viewing will be held on Saturday December 2, 2023 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Rivera Family Funeral Home.  A rosary will be recited at 12:00pm and followed by a Memorial Service on Wednesday December 6, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Rivera Family Funeral Home.  Interment and reception are currently pending.
