Joseph Salazar also known as "Mosco" – 40; a resident of La Mesilla passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2006, at the Espanola Hospital, following a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by a loving sister, Jennifer Diane Salazar in 1998, his Paternal grandparents Joe I. & Ramoncita Salazar of Youngsville; Uncles; Roy Romero and Leroy Salazar, both of Espanola; Godmother, Isabel Montoya of Santa Fe, Maternal grandparents Bernardino & Juanita Herrera formally of Nambe, Uncles and Aunts; Tony Montoya of El Rancho, Alfonso Herrera of Santa Fe, and Genievive Baca of Albuquerque, and a Cousin; Patricia Ulibarri of El Rancho. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy to be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 31, 2006, at Block-Salazar Mortuary. Rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 1, 2006, at Block-Salazar Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 2, 2006, at Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada. Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery in Espanola.
