Jose Romero

Jose Clodoveo Cloudy Romero, 67 of Vadito and El Prado passed away on December 21, 2009. He worked for the US Forest Service for 25 years as a Trail Manager. After retiring, he continued working at Taos Ski Valley, and for 15 years at Fausts Transportation. He was a 1961 graduate of Penasco High School. He is preceded in death by his biological parents, Aureliano and Clorinda Romero, Rubel and Evangelina Gonzales who raised him, brother, Fabian Romero, sister, Rosa Ardohain and stepdaughter, Anna Marie Martinez de Gonzales. He is survived by siblings, Nelson Romero, Erminio Romero (Alice), Lydia Garcia (Anselmo), Manuel Gonzales, Adonais Gonzales (Alice), Gabriel Gonzales (Adelaida), Claudina Gonzales, Juan Gonzales (Lupe), Roberto Gonzales, ex-wife, Nellie Cordova, sons, Abel Romero (Corina), Raymond M. Romero, Karlo Romero, companion, Cecilia F. Martinez, stepchildren, Faustin A. Gonzales, Jr., Diana Watson, Dolores Martinez, Ernestine Padilla (Raymond), along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many relatives and friends. Visitation was held on December 27, 2009 at Rivera Chapel. Rosary was recited on December 28, 2009 at the Vadito Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 10 AM at the Vadito Catholic Church with interment to follow at the Vadito Cemetery.
