JOSE S. GARCIA, age 76 of Georgetown, TX. Passed away on December 15, 2005 in Austin, TX. He was a longtime resident of Santa Fe and was well known in the construction field for over 17 years through his company, "JOE S. GARCIA AND SONS CONCRETE". His sons will carry on their fathers' trade with his spirit by their side and the wisdom he bestowed upon them. Joe S. Garcia was a fighter and never gave up. Through thick and thin he always knew what he wanted to do and how to do it as he was a very hard working man. He enjoyed summers tending to his garden making sure the Roses were well cared for; he cared for his family the same loving way. Now its time to let him go, with pride but not regret, for all that he did for us and what we will do for him in our lives. He was preceded in death by his parents Tiburcio Garcia and Genoveva Sanchez-Garcia, as well as his brother Jerry Garcia, his sisters Janie Garcia-Cuthair, and Mary Garcia-Pino. He is survived by his loving wife Amelia Luna-Garcia and their sixteen children; Sylvia and Erasmo Montijo of Santa Fe, Yolanda Garcia of Albuquerque, Joe B. and Christine Garcia of Santa Fe, Gilbert and Martha Garcia of Albuquerque, Joann Garcia of Albuquerque, Tony and Gina Garcia of Albuquerque, Irma and Gustavo Corral of Santa Fe, Bobby and Cindy Garcia of Santa Fe, Albert Garcia of Santa Fe, Reynaldo Garcia of Santa Fe, Cora and Steve Maldonado of Georgetown, TX., Flor and Santos Esparza of Santa Fe, Paul and Julie Garcia of Santa Fe, Ramon and Kim Garcia of Santa Fe, Jeanette and Lalo Orona of Georgetown,TX., and Reba Garcia of Georgetown, TX. Public visitation will be held on Sunday December 18th from 12 noon – 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary in Espanola, Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Santa Fe. Interment will take place in the family plot at South Park Cemetery in Roswell at 4:00 pm. The family of Jose S.
