Jose Trujillo

Jose C. Trujillo age 88 passed away peacefully at home on September 3 ,2020.

He is preceded in death by his father Victor and mother Melicia, sister Dolores, brother Luis, nephew AJ and nephew Paul.

He is survived by his partner/special friend of many years Tina Herrera. Sister Susie(Alfred), brother Fred(Virginia), sons Chris(Blanca), Rick(Liz), and Ron. Maria Salazar, mother of his children.

He is also survived by Damian and Janney who were very special to him and loved him as a grandpa and by Tinas girls!!

Grandkids- Christopher, Gaby ,Rose, Crystal, Anthony and Desiree

Great Grandkids- Liam, Haley, Matey, Mason, and Isaac

Nieces and nephews- Melissa( Danny), Pam(Kenny), Alisha(Kris), Michelle(Damian), Steve, Ray(Tammy),Amber, Isiah, Joshua and girls, Natasha, Joey, Ashley, Nathaniel, Ryan and Jordan and by many other friends and relatives

He was retired from the State of New Mexico. He was well known to be a joker!! He was a loving father, brother and grandfather. He enjoyed picking pinion and cruising to Laughlin and Colorado. He also liked cruising back to where he was born and raised(Pecos and Colonias) where he loved to fish!! He would get lost for hours doing wordfind puzzles!! He also enjoyed watching cowboy movies!! He enjoyed eating menudo, ribs and lamb!!

He will be dearly missed by everyone!! Including two dog companions(Crackers and Squeakers)!!

The Trujillo family has entrusted Jose's loving care to Rivera Family Funeral Home of Espanola.
