Juanita Garcia

Juanita Garcia – Age 95 A life long resident of Chamisal, passed away in her home on July 18, 2008 after a lengthy illness. Juanita was born in Chamisal, N.M. on October 20, 1912. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Ignacio Garcia and Alcarita Dominguez-Garcia; Brothers, Frank Garcia and wife Dolorita; Jose Maria Garcia and wife Matilde; Leopoldo Garcia and wife Sofiria; Doniseo Garcia and sisters, Elena Garcia, Libradita Romero and husband Juan and Anastacia Garcia as well as two infant brothers, infant granddaughter Benita Sanchez; a son Aureliano Garcia; grandson, Benito Sanchez, Jr. and son-in-law Joe Benito Sanchez. She survived by her daughter, Mary Alcarita Sanchez and son, Maximiliano Garcia and wife Sandy both of Chamisal, N.M. grandchildren, Becky Fernandez and husband Eddie; Arturo Sanchez; Rudy Sanchez; Fred Sanchez and wife Marylou; Eutimia Visarraga and husband Wayne; Victoria Sanchez and husband Rowdy; Max Garcia, Jr.; Juliet Gonzales and husband Eddie; Teresa Herrera and husband Rod; Frutoso Garcia; Margaret Santistevan and husband Miguel; 16 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A rosary will be recited at the Santa Cruz Catholic Church in Chamisal on Sunday, July 20, 2008 at 7:00pm. Mass of Christian celebration will be at the Santa Cruz Catholic Church in Chamisal on Monday, July 21, 2008 at 10:00am.
