Judith Fourtin Harries Keane, 69, of Santa Fe, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2009 following a lengthy illness, bourne with strength, courage and determination of spirit.
Judith was born April 22, 1939 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the youngest daughter of William and Esther Fourtin. Raised and schooled in Bridgeport, following her schooling she remained there where she raised her family. She retired from Richardson-Vicks following several years of service. She continued to volunteer at the Food Depot along with volunteering at the gift shop at St. Vincent Hospital. Judith was a former member of the Santa Fe Lodge #460, B.P.O.E.. In recent years, she resided at Ventana de Vida, where she was an avid BINGO enthusiast.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents and five older siblings, and a very dear friend, David Ruiz. Her survivors include her son, Richard Harries and his partner John Dagger of Scotland; her daughter, Susan Aylward and husband Jonas of Santa Fe; her grandchildren, Katie Aylward and Timothy Aylward. She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, god children, cousins, and many, many loving friends.
