Judith Nowers

Judith was welcomed home with Jesus on Monday January 24, 2022. She was surrounded by her husband, son, and daughter who held her hands as she passed peacefully from this Earth to the next. Judith was a woman with an extraordinary stride for excellence. She prayed for God’s righteousness on this Earth and for His people. She treasured a warm green chile enchilada, her country, her family, prayer, dedicated time with her Lord, and a desire to see Jesus on this earth. She will continue her journey of excellence for God's kingdom alongside Jesus. She is now filled with forever peace and joy.  She served her Lord in many capacities while on this earth whether in the medical field or pastoral leadership. She had a long career as a nurse and nurse practitioner serving Santa Fe and its surrounding areas through Indian Health Services and Lovelace. She began ministry with Sunday School, youth group, and Marriage Ministries International. She then graduated from Wagner Leadership Institute in 2001 with a Doctorate of Practical Ministry and served the remainder of her time as the founder of Joyful Ministries – a local prophetic and apostolic Christian learning center. She is preceded in death by her son Terry, her brother Jerry Rockhold, her mother and Father Maurice and Merle Rockhold. She leaves behind her husband Henry “Hank”, her son Daniel “Dan”, and her daughter Lisa, six grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Her family, friends, and loved ones will miss her dearly but celebrate her coming home and look forwarding to seeing her “soon.”

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Joyful Ministries. Donations can be sent to PO Box 24133 Santa Fe, NM 87502 or there will be collection baskets at all services and celebration activities.

A Social Celebration will be held on Saturday, January 29th from 1 PM – 3 PM at Joyful Ministries located at 1161 Siler Road Santa Fe, NM 87507.

Viewing will take place on Saturday, January 29th from 5 PM – 7 PM at Rivera Kiva Chapel of Light loctaed at 417 Rodeo Rd Santa Fe, NM 87505.

A Celebration of Life will be on Sunday January 30th 2 PM at Freedom Church located at 3732 Cerrillos Road Santa Fe, NM 87507.
