Judy Kaye Vanderbeck

Judy Vanderbeck October 30, 1956 ~ August 31, 2008 Judy, beloved bartender at La Posada Hotel, lost her three year battle with lung cancer on August 31, 2008 at St. Vincent Hospital. She bravely faced the disease and fought fiercely with sword in hand, never letting it stand in the way of living life to the fullest. Judy enjoyed every minute of life and touched many other lives with her radiant smile and positive attitude. She was loved by everyone she encountered and will be missed by all. She is survived by her mother Joyce Atkins of Guin AL, father Tom Green of Sulligent, AL, sisters Karen Mitchell of Marshall, TX, and Jewel Moore of Charlotte, NC, niece Tania Rumbley, nephews Anthony and Jonathan Edwards, and her loving pets Hammer and Lita.
