Julian Allen Gaul

Julian Allen Gaul, age 84, from Tesuque, NM passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017. He was born in Detroit, MI on August 18, 1932 to his parents Mary Chalmer and Andy Benson Gaul, where he met and married Olivama Mary Griego on July 4, 1963. He is survived by his sons Frederick Allen, Andrew Julian, and Bruce Alfonso Gaul, his grandsons Lance Wesley and Anthony Andrew Gaul, and his beloved family Mary Lou Caron, Barbra Gaul, Karen Armstrong, Joseph, Chrissy and Annie Gaul. He is preceded in death by his father Andrew Benson and mother Mary Chalmers Gaul, his brothers George and Arthur Gaul, and his sister Jean Walsh. Julian Gaul retired from Detroit Marine Terminal on July of 1987 and moved to the Santa Fe area soon after. Julian and Vama lived happily on property given to them by Fred Griego, Vamas father. Julian enjoyed working on his computer, learning about the Griego lineage through ancestry investigations and loved spending time with his wife. There will be a service held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in the Kiva Chapel at the Rivera Funeral Home at 11:00am with a reception to follow. Burial will take place on Monday at 9:00am at San Isidro Church in Tesuque, NM.
