Jules Dufour

Mr. Jules Dufour age 85 of Los Alamos, NM. died peacefully at home on Sunday October 3, 2010 in Los Alamos. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the 101st Airborne Infantry Division during WWII, receiving 3 bronze stars and the purple heart. He especially enjoyed time spent in the outdoors-fishing & hunting. He married Mary Gallo in Houtzdale, PA. and enjoyed 63 years of marriage, raising four children; Joann Hernandez of Denver, CO., Darline Polonis of Rio Rancho, NM., Diane Arikan and husband Ty of Mountain Home, AR., and Les Dufour and wife Linda of T or C, NM., 4 grandsons; Michael and Bobby Romero, Patrick Hernandez and Adam Dufour, great granddaughter Amira Hernandez and many relatives in Pennsylvania. A memorial service to remember Mr. Dufour will be held on Monday October 11 at 11:00 am. at The Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Los Alamos. Interment will follow at the family plot in Pennsylvania.
