June Scott

June Scott quietly passed away July 30, 2008 and was welcomed into Heaven. Born June 25, 1927 in Roy, New Mexico to Albert and Lula Vig, she spent her childhood years in Greeley and Firestone, Colorado. She moved to Los Angeles, California during high school and graduated from Los Angeles City College. She was employed by Northrop Grauman Corporation, as an executive secretary for 33 years. Upon retirement, in 1987, she moved to her beloved Santa Fe. Many years were spent as a volunteer at St. Vincent's Hospital where she enjoyed the friendships of patients and volunteers. She is survived by her son; Keith Scott and wife Cheryl, of Roy, NM, three grandchildren: Cindy Orthman and husband Art, Jason and wife Christina, and Curtis, three great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many cousins and an aunt and uncle. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 3:00pm Saturday, August 2, 2008 at the Roy, New Mexico Cemetery.
