Kaitlin Gillespie

Kaitlin Elyce, 23 years young, departed from the physical plane on April 20th, 2018. This magnetic and animated spirit was born alongside her twin sister Riley to Christopher and Melanie Gillespie on July 8th, 1994. Twelve years later in junior high, Kaitlin met Kara and she was welcomed in to the family as a sister. Kaitlin is also survived by numerous friends and extended family. After moving around dozens of times, Kaitlin profoundly affected the many people she met with her optimistic outlook on life. Her soul was dynamic and she carried a grace and poise beyond compare. Anyone lucky enough to be close to her knew that she was the purest and most magical human being anyone could have the pleasure of meeting. So, it was no wonder that she found magical worlds alluring, especially that of Harry Potter. She would want to leave her loved ones with one of her favorite quotes from the series: “happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” There will be a private service in New Mexico and a celebration of her life in Protection, KS at a later date.
