Karen L Casias

Karen L. Casias, 55, of Tierra Amarilla died on November 8, 2009. She is preceded in death by her parents Norman Richard and Jeanette Gomez and her granddaughter Kelly Ann Leivas. Karen was a member of the Blue Star Mothers of America and a Master Weaver. She is survived by her loving husband Amarante A. Casias, son; James Michael Casias and wife Michelle of Fargo, ND, daughter; Tina Marie Casias of Albuquerque, NM, granddaughters; Brooklyn Marie Leivas and Brianna Bell Casias, sisters; Patricia Ann Lopez and companion Wolf Silbernagle of Chama, Dona Whitham and husband Michael of Coventry, CT, and Gail Marie DeLavergne and husband Gene of South Windsor, CT, and Brother Norman R. Gomez, JR. of Albuquerque, NM, as well as many other relatives and friends. The mass of chirstian burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 13, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at The San Jose Catholic Church in Los Ojos.
